Halloween Blood Drive

Halloween, the perfect day for a business neighborhood blood drive. The TyRex family once again hosted a very successful blood drive. We also had help from IBC Bank who provided a tent full of supplies for all the donors and several raffle prizes including a BBQ cooler and men’s and women’s watches. Thanks also to Krispy Kreme for donuts and Thomas Reprographics for the Blood Drive banner. Clabber Girl donated cookie dough. HEB contributed gift cards. TyRex contributed 100 containers of cookie dough and donated $25 each. Clabber Girl and TyRex donated $850 toward the Racing for Kids charity. Racing for Kids is an organization that helps children who are ill or hospitalized. TyRex also donated $470 to the Samaritan Counseling Center as a result of the employee blood donations. A BIG Thanks to everyone who helped out and a special thank you to everyone who donated blood.
