Austin Science Festival

In February, several members of the TyRex Family had the incredible opportunity to volunteer during the Annual Austin Energy Regional Science Festival, commonly known as the Austin Science Fest. More than 3,000 students from over 200 area schools in grades 3-12, along with their family members, participated in this amazing three-day event. Winning projects in the junior and senior divisions advanced to the state-wide Texas Science & Engineering Fair.

ARL and DLi partnered together as a joint Silver Level Sponsor, and TyRex Family members were able to help out doing everything from setting up to judging the student projects. DLi’s Jorge Moguel was featured during the grand finale at the end of the Junior & Senior Awards Ceremony, where he presented a CEL5500 industrial projector to the Senior Division Sweepstakes Award winner, Vista Ridge High School.
