We are proud to have even been nominated, and even more proud to have received a Generous Business award from Austin Gives and the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce!
At TyRex, we’ve believed since Day 1 that our company is not just a renter in the Austin community, but a resident – we truly embrace the social responsibilities that come with being a part of the Austin community, which is why we place a high importance on giving back and partnering with local nonprofit organizations.
A little about our community engagement: The TyRex Group’s giving program defines innovation and creativity, almost to the point of overdoing it! We have launched our own successful nonprofit (not a traditional corporate foundation), we have successfully integrated in-house volunteerism to make service part of our everyday work lives, we have built innovative partnerships with nonprofits of all shapes and sizes to go beyond “corporate funder,” and most importantly we have built a spirit of entrepreneurial, innovative community service into our 100+ employees. Although our retention is high, we believe that when a member of our family’s time with us comes to an end we have done our job as a corporate citizen if we’ve prepared each ‘alumnus’ to make our community stronger.
