TyRex Celebrates Independence and Manufacturing’s Future as America Turns 250
Trevor Hendricks2026-07-13T20:47:41+00:00July 4th, 1776, the Continental Congress adopted the final draft of the Declaration of Independence. In the following weeks, 56 congressmen and delegates from the original thirteen colonies signed the revolutionary document and continued their pursuit of independence, eventually leading to the rise of the United States of America. 250 years later, America continues to celebrate the courage and innovation expressed by its Founding Fathers as they risked their lives to go against established British rule to create a country never before seen in the world. Among this year’s celebrations, TyRex Group made itself a destination spot for America’s patriots and business professionals alike.
Capitalizing on the success of its Patriot’s Day Celebration, TyRex once again opened its doors to the public for a very special Manufacturing Independence Day Celebration. The celebration focused on TyRex’s ongoing AI and workforce development programs targeted at equipping young manufacturers of tomorrow and today’s educators with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in this new era of technology and manufacturing.
TyRex's American Manufactuing Independence Day Celebration
25 Tour stops and full American patriot flair returned to excite and guide external visitors and TyRex Family employees through the TyRex facility. To commemorate the day, TyRex unveiled a six-foot-tall Declaration of Manufacturing Independence sign! Also of note, TyRex’s Wheel of Technology Fortune featured new prizes including specialty coinage direct from 2 mints, solid gold coins and unique challenge coins. Throughout the day-long event, students, educators, journalists, young entrepreneurs, and other Austinites visited the facility to explore TyRex’s AI and internship programs, along with everything else on display, including its additive manufacturing and technology labs, Dino Museum, and special exhibits.

Halfway through the day, celebrants tuned in to a special video presentation and inspiring words from TyRex leadership. From there, everyone lined up to enjoy classic American cuisine. Special thank you to Austin Reliability Labs’ General Manager, Jason Dunbar, for manning the TyRex grill to serve up a cheeseburger and hot dog lunch made with appreciation. After lunch, the TyRex Family gathered for its highly anticipated summertime bag toss competition. “Getting to break bread and spend time with my coworkers while engaging in some friendly competition is what I like most about our Independence Day celebrations,” shared iRex Engineering Manager Denny Hean after placing first in the bag toss competition. “Winning is great, but it’s the shared fun that makes our company events worth looking forward to!”
Stopping short of literal fireworks in the parking lot, the TyRex Family concluded its traditional Independence Day celebrations and pivoted focus back to manufacturing’s rapidly evolving future.
The Future of Manufacturing has Arrived
Just as the Founding Fathers ushered in a new era of American government, Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing business operations worldwide, from the way people interact to how products are produced. The ever-present need to evolve is becoming harder to ignore, meaning companies must adapt or risk falling behind the competition. Fortunately, continuous improvement and technology integration have been prevailing philosophies of TyRex for decades, so as everyone navigates this new era of manufacturing, TyRex will continue to lead from the front, offering high-quality products and services for end-to-end product lines while educating and training tomorrow’s workforce with the cutting-edge technologies and production tools they’ll need to succeed as they grow into the industry.
